MEET YOUR HOST

I work from home.
They make it a home.

Hi, I’m Tony. I work from home in Donna, where everyday life already includes my two rescue dogs, Emma and Toto. Casita Dog Stays is my way of offering a small, personal alternative to a busy boarding facility.

As a dog owner, I know that leaving your dog with someone is about trust. My goal is simple: a comfortable place to stay, familiar routines, and a real person you can stay in touch with while you’re away.

Your dog gets a dedicated guest room for rest, with care and outdoor breaks arranged around their needs. Working from home is part of the setup—not a promise of constant supervision. We discuss the actual routine together.

THE RESIDENT WELCOMING COMMITTEE

Meet Emma & Toto.

Two rescues. One very loved home. These are my dogs, and they live here too.

OUR RESCUE GIRL

Emma

Emma is about 11 years old, an Australian Shepherd / Blue Heeler–type rescue mix. She’s one of the two dogs who make our casita a home.

OUR LITTLE RESCUE GUY

Toto

Toto is about 3 years old, a Rat Terrier / Chihuahua rescue mix—our very own “Mexican street-dog special.” Small dog, much-loved member of the family.

Your dog will be staying in a home with Emma and Toto. Introductions are planned carefully, and sleeping, feeding, and shared time are arranged to suit each dog. Sharing the home does not mean sharing a room.

THE RIGHT DOG. THE RIGHT HOME.

Small on purpose.

A smaller guest list lets us keep things personal. We focus on small and medium dogs, with temperament, care needs, and comfort around resident dogs considered before each stay.

Small & medium, individually screenedTell us your dog’s weight and needs so we can talk about the right fit. We do not specialize in large-dog boarding.
A small, thoughtfully matched guest listTell us about any second dog from your household. We confirm capacity and arrangements together, rather than crowding the home.
A meet & greet before the first stayWe review routines, comfort around dogs, records, and the supervision your dog needs.
NO LEAP OF FAITH REQUIRED

We meet first. You travel easier.

01

Tell us about your dog.

Share your dates, your dog’s size, and a little about their routine. We’ll check the fit before discussing a stay.

02

Meet. Introduce. Settle.

Start with a conversation and a careful introduction. An introductory day visit helps us see how your dog settles before a longer stay.

03

Confirm a care plan.

Agree on the rate, care, pickup windows, records, and emergency contacts. Only then is a stay confirmed.

CHECK IN ON THEIR LITTLE CORNER

A little peace of mind, even from away.

Ask about private guest-room camera access for your dog’s stay. We’ll agree on availability, the viewing window, and what the camera covers before you arrive.

A view of their resting space—not a promise that your dog is always on camera. Camera access is arranged for your stay only.

THE LITTLE DETAILS

Good questions.

How do I arrange my dog’s first stay?

Send an inquiry or call Tony. We’ll discuss your dog, availability, and a meet-and-greet. An introductory day visit may come before a longer stay. Your reservation is confirmed personally after we agree on care, pricing, and dates.

Will my dog be staying with Emma and Toto?

Emma and Toto live in the home. We discuss introductions, shared time, and separate rest and feeding arrangements before your stay. Dogs do not have to share a bedroom or interact continuously.

Do you take large dogs or dogs with complex needs?

The focus is small and medium dogs whose care can be safely managed in this home. Every request is screened individually. There is no automatic acceptance based on weight or a description of a dog as friendly.

What should I bring for a stay?

Bring your dog’s normal food, written feeding instructions, a secure leash and harness or collar, the records we request, and an emergency contact. We agree on sleeping arrangements and discuss any medication needs in advance.

Can I see the guest space before deciding?

Yes. We arrange a meet-and-greet and explain the care space and daily routine before your first stay. The exact address is shared privately, and all visits are by appointment.

Does working from home mean constant supervision?

Tony works from home, but care coverage, work commitments, and any periods alone are discussed before a stay. We only agree to arrangements that suit your dog’s needs.

Can I leave my car and use the EV charger?

Ask about parking and EV charging when you inquire. Space, charger compatibility, duration, and any charges must be agreed in advance. These are add-on arrangements for boarding customers, not a drop-in charging station or airport shuttle.

Can I check in on my dog by camera?

Ask Tony about optional, private guest-room camera access before your stay. Availability, coverage, and access times are agreed in advance. Any access is limited to your stay and the guest-room view, not other household cameras or previous guests’ recordings. The property also has exterior security cameras. Cameras complement care and personal updates; they do not replace a caregiver.

Their next stay can start with a hello.

A small guest list. A real conversation. A home in the Valley.
